Rules of thumb

Section titled “Rules of thumb”
  • Say what happened, then what to do next. An empty state names the next action. An error says what failed and how to recover.
  • Use the words people use in the space. Parts, tools, shelves and boxes, not assets and entities.
  • Keep it calm. No exclamation marks for errors, and no jokes when something went wrong.

Naming

Section titled “Naming”
  • In copy, write Space Works: two words, both capitalized.
  • The wordmark is lowercase space works and only ever appears as the logo artwork.
  • Keep technical names accurate: the SpaceWorks repository, spaceworks-hq.github.io and package names stay as they are.
